Join us for Children's Sunday worship, including performances by the Children's Choir and opportunities for kids of all ages to be involved in all parts of worship. This celebratory worship also marks the end of the Sunday School year.
We gather to worship, remembering and giving thanks for our baptism, hearing God's Word read and preached, and joining our voices together in prayer and song.
Our gospel text for the day is Luke 17:11-19, a story of ten people healed of leprosy, and the one who returns to thank Jesus for the healing. As we celebrate Thanksgiving, we wonder together: What could it be that prompted one person to give thanks, and what kept the others from doing likewise? What gets in the way of our thankfulness, and what nurtures it?
A follow up to last week's gathering at Mount Olivet, this week we will gather at St Clement's to continue our lively discussion about what an "Anglican" and a "Lutheran" really are, what we share in our two very closely related traditions and what differences or gifts we bring to our relationship and shared ministry.
Rev. Lynne and Pastor Carolina will also answer all the questions submitted last week.
We hope to see you there!
