Mount Olivet Children's Choir
The Children's Choir is open to all children ages 4 - 12
who are interested in singing and learning how to read music.
The focus is on learning the basics of choral singing while
having fun in an encouraging and supportive environment.
The choir will rehearse in the church on Fridays, and sing
once a month during Sunday worship. This is an excellent music
education Mount Olivet Lutheran Church offers to our members
and the wide community. There is no cost to family. All are
welcome.
Our Teacher:
The choir is directed by Mrs. Tae Maeda. Tae has 28 years
of experience as a certified music teacher in both Japan and
Canada. She is a registered piano grade examiner with the
Yamaha Music Foundation of Canada, and the church musician at
Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church.
Rehearsals:
Fridays - September to June (4 p.m. to 5 p.m.)
