Ingrid Potter
Ingrid is the director of the church’s two choirs, the
Women’s Choir and the Men’s Choir. She is a competent
soloist and she has been directing the ministry of music at
Mount Olivet for many years. Ingrid is one of the worship
assistants.
Tillie Campbell
Tillie is the church music librarian. She used to be the
organist for the church for many years. Tillie still plays
for the church occasionally.
Tae Maeda
Tae is a registered music teacher. She is also the organist
and director of the Children Choir at Mount Olivet Lutheran
Church. Outside the church, Tae plays piano accompaniment
for locals school choirs. Together with her husband Tak,
they have been seen on many music scenes on the North Shore
community.
Tak Maeda
Tak formerly played trumpet for a decade with the Kansai
Philharmonic Orchestra in Japan, is currently the music
director of three local community groups: The West Vancouver
Concert Band, the West Vancouver Adult Pops Band, and the
North Shore Concert Band. Together with his wife, Tae, they
have been performing at various fundraising events since
coming from Japan in 1990.
Monta Maeda
Monta is a Civil Engineer. He plays the euphonium and he is one of
the worship assistants at Mount Olivet.
Kinta Maeda
Kinta is a student at the British Columbia Institute of
Technology. He plays trumpet with school bands and West
Vancouver Concert Band.
Pastor Alan Lai
Pastor is an amateur classical pianist, soloist, and a
guitar player. Occasionally he performs at church concert
and worship service. He plays music of Chopin and
Rachmaninoff.
